  1. Identify the cargo

    Give the commodity name, intended use, piece count and packaging. Mention special storage or handling requirements.

  2. Record dimensions and weight

    Provide length × width × height per package, gross weight and the units used. Identify unusual sizes or individual equipment weights.

  3. Set the route and timing

    Share origin and destination cities, cargo readiness, preferred arrival date and the receiving contact. Separate required milestones from preferences.

  4. Prepare the handover

    Describe packaging, collection and unloading conditions, warehouse receiving requirements and the information available from suppliers.
